Datasafe S80 for Nokia Communicator (9500/9300)

DataSafe is a small shareware programm which allows easy access to secret data. Everybody knows the problem that you have a lot of PINs, passwords, user names and other secret data, but you cannot bear all in mind. So you often use the same password for many things, but the security is gone, or you write everything down, but this is not recommended to do with PIN or TANs.
The data is encrypted with the password you choose.
Data Safe uses the Twofish encryption algorithm. It is necessary that you use a password with minimum 8 characters to have enought security for your data.




In the main view you have at the left side the categories and on the other side the data.
(in the unregistered version you have only 2 categories, otherwise as much as you want)

To prevent others to see your data in case of not closing the application the screensaver will be active after some time.



For copy and paste you can use the standart key combinations:
Ctrl+C copy, Ctrl+ v paste und Ctrl+ x cut.

To get all categories the order you want, the categories are not sorted. You can change the order manually.

you can also search for text in all categories.

If you want to backup your data to a PC you can copy the file datasafe.dat (located in ?/system/Apps/DatasafeS80/, where ? is Communicator or MMC)
directly to your PC. Use the PC suite for this.

TAN modus added for easy use of TANs


NOTE for purchasing Datasafe:
Enter as Symbian ID the IMEI of you phone. (press *#06# at the phone to get the IMEI)
Do not use any additional characters, only the 15 digits, then the code will be calculated immediately.

The money I get for the registration is completely spended to a school for children with learning difficulties, where my wife is teacher. At the moment I have spended 5250 Eur to this school, so thanks to all that have registered my DataSafe.
